The Kansas Department on Aging (KDOA) has imposed a $10,000 civil monetary penalty on Legend Senior Living, LLC, doing business as The Windsor of Lawrence, 3220 Peterson Rd., Lawrence.
The fine resulted from violations which significantly and adversely affected the health, safety, nutrition or sanitation of the adult care residents of the facility. The violations were identified in a survey conducted February 29 through March 7, 2008.
The facility has the right to file an appeal.
