The Kansas Department on Aging (KDOA) has imposed a $10,000 civil monetary penalty on Brea Overland Park, LLC, doing business as The Court at Overland Park, 11000 Oakmont Ave., Overland Park.
The fine resulted from violations which significantly and adversely affected the health, safety, nutrition or sanitation of the adult care residents of the facility. The violations were identified in a survey on January 29-31, 2008.
The facility has the right to file an appeal.
